In the space between architecture, interior, landscape and documentary Kim Fristedt Malmberg work with focus on human made surroundings.
Her work moves between documenting existing places and arranging the set, all depends on what the occasion demands. When explaining her work the phrase environmental photography is close at hand. She spent 3 years in art school, has a bachelor degree in environmental science and a professional degree in photography.

Her clients range between marketing pictures for interior designers, kitchen designers, describing architectural places and product shoots. When the time and place is given people also finds their way in to her work. The natural light has a strong bearing in Kim’s work. She often finds a place that has the right light and surroundings that sets the tone and then build the pictures from there. This process appears both in her commercial and in her art work.
